DAPPER DABBA (CONCEPT)

Often clumsy to open, most lunchboxes are not successful in avoiding spillage - and definitely lack panache when spread out on a table. The Dapper Dabba aims to change all that. Individually sealed containers keep all kinds of food securely in place while a woven bamboo bag (equipped with cutlery and serviettes) unzips to create a place setting.

Inspired by tiffins that stayed on from colonial India, and the La Boule picnic set by Helen von Boch and Frederigo Fabbrini.

Dabba - Made from ceramic-coated anodised aluminium. It can be heated on gas and electric plates. Bag - Woven bamboo mat.
